Joying is a 15-year-old company that focuses on developing, designing, and selling a range of car audio products based on the Android operating system for the global market. The newest 9-inch car auto radio from Joying supports a variety of features, including factory USB, steering wheel control, reverse camera, LaneWatch camera, amplifier, and climate control.

This car radio for Toyota Tacoma models from 2016 to 2021 supports both wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. It is also equipped with a built-in 4G module and DSP, Bluetooth 5.1, and 5GHz Wi-Fi.

When it comes to installation, users may need an installation frame kit with an inner size of 178 x 102mm, a special ISO harness, an amplifier adapter, or a CAN-bus decoder, depending on the specific requirements of their vehicle. The device does not support factory car GPS antennas, backup rear cameras, Bluetooth, USB, or microphones, and it only works with Joying accessories, such as DAB+ digital radio adapters, DVRs, OBDII scanners, reverse cameras, TPMS, and steering wheel controllers, which can be ordered separately.

Joying's car stereo offers a better-than-ever listening experience, thanks to its DSP sound effect processing chip and TDA7851 power amplifier output chip, which support SPDIF digital audio output. The device features a 32-band equalizer with independent front and rear speaker adjustment, omni-directional stereo surround sound for a higher-order surround stereo hearing experience, and bass reinforcement with separate adjustments for the front and rear speakers.

The built-in 4G module allows for internet access when a SIM card is inserted, but it does not support making phone calls or sending SMS. It supports various GSM, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, and LTE bands, with the exception of some specific bands used by AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

The car stereo features a fast boot-up time, starting up instantly and entering the user interface in just 2 seconds (it takes about 30-40 seconds for the first boot-up). It also supports split-screen multitasking, allowing users to run two apps simultaneously, such as using YouTube while navigating or visiting a website while listening to the radio.

The device comes with an AM/FM radio, supported by a DSP chip, and RDS functionality. It also has three USB ports and a Micro SD card slot, supporting various video, audio, and image formats, with a maximum storage capacity of 64GB. However, it does not support video output to headrests.

The Joying car stereo runs on Android 10.0 and is powered by a UIS7862 12nm dual ARM Cortex-A75 and six ARM A55 processor. It has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and an 8-inch screen size, as well as Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity for hands-free phone calls and music streaming.
